We love working at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center! This flash back Friday we go back to a catered corporate reception for Siemens Technology.
We wanted to give our guests a “taste of Texas,” and showcase our local ingredients, so the dinner began with a Texas Caprese Salad with Fried Green Tomatoes, Local Texas Chevre and Field Greens with Sun Dried Tomatoes. It was followed with Pecan-Crusted Chicken Chile Rellenos with a Cilantro Cream Sauce, Beef Tenderloin with Chimichuri Butter, Poblano and Bacon Twice Baked Potatoes, Haricot Verts, Jalapeno Cornbread, Artisan Rolls and Whipped Butter was served for the main course.
Hoping there was lots of room for dessert, we then scooped Blue Bell Vanilla Ice Cream on top of fresh Blueberry Cobblers…what a great menu!
