Local Eats: Austin
This fall Austin will be home to some exciting new restaurants opening up soon. Check out what we are looking forward to below:
Black’s Barbecue was founded in 1932 when Edgar Black, Sr. took over an existing meat market in Lockhart. The Austin Black’s will celebrate with a grand opening on Saturday, Nov. 8. and will offer the originals including fatty and lean brisket, link sausages, pork ribs, beef ribs, and turkey all seasoned with the original 1932 dry rub formula. The sides are classic Texas Barbeque fixings like sweet coleslaw, mustard based potato salad, and ranch0-style beans. A southern plate of meat and sides is never complete without pickles, onions, jalapenos, light bread and loads of BBQ sauce, which are included too.
We can’t wait!
